Beat the January blues by taking part in the ultimate urban cold water swim. The Outdoor Swimmer Beat the Blues – Dive into the Docks swim takes place under the city skyline, in London’s iconic Docklands area on Sunday 26 January.
Ideal for both first timers and seasoned cold water swimmers, this event offers a leisurely recreational swim or cold water dip with the Outdoor Swimmer team in the iconic London Royal Docks, followed by a warm drink and nibbles on the pontoon.
The first 50 swimmers to sign up will receive a free pair of Nike Swim Vapor goggles, plus we'll be having a prize draw on the day with lots of goodies to give away, including a dryrobe Advance!
This is a chance to dive into outdoor swimming in the nation’s capital and join a warm and welcoming community of swimmers. Meet and swim with the Outdoor Swimmer team, hear about their winter swimming adventures and mingle with fellow swimmers and special guests.
With lifeguard cover and facilities provided by NOWCA, you'll be in safe hands. Free wetsuit and tow float hire if desired. Bright hats are compulsory but can be in the form of a swim cap, knitted bobble or top-hat if that's your style!

As the swim takes place at NOWCA's dockland venue, you will need to be a NOWCA member to take part. You can join NOWCA if necessary when you sign up to the event. Membership lasts for a year and gives you access to all NOWCA venues.
Wetsuits are optional.
No specific distance is required. All terms and conditions are covered by the NOWCA Docklands event assessment.
