As your guide, I will help you realize your existing patterns and teach you how to rewire your brain. 

If you lean into the process of finding your breath, building your frame and minimizing drag by finding efficient shapes in the water, you have the potential to become a very different swimmer by the end of this course than you are today.

Virtual works because you are the one that needs to change - no one can do that for you!

But this is not for the faint of heart. Change is hard. 

Can you commit to 6 weeks of training your brain? Your body will come along for the ride. 

You will explore the building blocks of freestyle swimming, one skill each week. First on dryland to introduce the muscle memory, then take the motion to the water.

In this course you will not do lengths and lengths of drills which take your body out of the context. Instead, you will take the learned behavior and introduce it straight into full stroke swimming. This facilitates the integration of knowledge. With deliberate practice the skills become ingrained. 

With focus and dedication, your stroke will evolve.

My Story


A pool swimmer my whole life, in high school I faced insurmountable performance anxiety that literally took my breath away. I hung up my cap and goggles for many years. Seeking new fitness goals in my twenties, I dabbled in triathlon only to rediscover my performance anxieties compounded by a gripping fear of open water. It was another decade before I faced my fears and realized a passion for the wide open waters of solo marathon swimming.
