This spring-fed lake is a haven of tranquillity in north Bristol with daily sessions for members during the summer months, as well as the weekend in winter.
Details
Situated in the heart of the Bristol suburb of Henleaze, this former quarry is surrounded by lawns and beautiful trees. The Lake is about four hundred metres long and between thirty and sixty metres wide. The swimming area varies throughout the year; from 70 metres in the winter to 220 metres in high summer.
It is open daily for Members to swim between May and September with weekend sessions during the winter months.
