Organiser's Description

Half-mile, one-mile, two-mile and six-mile distances.

Children with Cancer UK Swim Serpentine offers swimmers of all abilities the chance to take part in a one-day open-water swimming event held in and around the beautiful Serpentine in London’s Hyde Park. Everyone’s welcome, so please join us on Saturday 18 September for this celebration of open-water swimming!

The half-mile distance, which is also half a lap of the Serpentine, is the perfect introduction to open-water swimming, while the Super Six event (which has sold out for 2021!) offers an exciting six-mile challenge for more experienced open-water swimmers.

This year, more than ever, we’re focused on the mental health benefits of swimming outdoors, so we’ve launched a #SwimHappy campaign to explore and celebrate the mental health benefits that outdoor swimming delivers.

Sign up for the event and you’ll also receive an exclusive newsletter every fortnight featuring essential training tips from the experts at Outdoor Swimmer magazine, as well as inspiring interviews with swimmers just like you!
