Semer Water Swim Run 2019 is a multi-stage event comprising four swim and three trail run stages with a total distance of just under 20 kilometres taking place on 18 August 2019 in this relatively unknown and remote location. The course has been designed to be of a length that will appeal to the first time competitor but with run stages that have some challenging terrain to provide a good test for the more seasoned swim runner.

The dark, cool Semer Water is the largest lake in North Yorkshire and the event will criss-cross the water four times using entry and exit points usually closed off to the public as a way to access the trail network around the lake.
