See Swim inflatable dry bag

The latest tow float to enter the market is an inflatable dry bag from See Swim, designed for carrying your kit with you when you swim. It is available in one size only, but we found that its 28-litre capacity was capable of carrying shoes, a change of clothes and a lightweight towel – enough for summer swimming when you don’t need to carry too much stuff.

The bag has two inflatable pockets to make it more buoyant. We found the two-way valve easy to use and the double opening means that the bag can be deflated very easily (and quickly – See Swim claim that it deflates in 5 seconds).

The bag features two nylon handles, which are useful for grabbing onto in the water. The bag attaches to your waist with an adjustable nylon lead and carabiner.

The Sea Swim bag is yellow (although we thought it a rather classy burnt sienna) so is not as fluorescent as other tow floats on the market, yet still bright enough to be visible in the water. A tough and durable product.
