Highlighting water quality and efforts to make a difference
Take on the waters surrounding Governors Island, NYC to raise awareness of local water quality and the work being done to address it.
The swim will start from the water, with an epic view of lower Manhattan and the Statue of Liberty. Swimmers will proceed along the shoreline, ending near the Pier 101 home of Billion Oyster Project – an organization dedicated to improving NYC’s waterways.
