Swim Party – Algarve
Swim Party is a celebration of swimming, community and the beautiful Carvoeiro-Ferragudo coast (Algarve)
With solo distances of 5km and 10km, and a team relay option to cover the 10km as 3.2 + 1.8 + 5km, we have something for a wide range of swimmers.
The swim takes us along the beautiful limestone cliffs of the Algarve from Benagil and Carvoeiro beaches to Ferragudo Praia dos Caneiros.
Unlike other events where you pack up and go home when you leave the water, we encourage you to stay and join our beach party.

I started Outdoor Swimmer in 2011 (initially as H2Open Magazine) as an outlet for my passion for swimming outdoors. I've been a swimmer and outdoor swimmer for as long as I remember. Swimming has made a huge difference to my life and I want to share its joys and benefits with as many people as possible. I am also the author of Swim Wild & Free: A Practical Guide to Swimming Outdoors 365 a Year, I provide one-to-one support to swimmers through Swim Mentoring and I'm the creator of the Renaissance Swimmer project.
