Ready to make waves in Hyde Park’s famous Serpentine Lake? Take on one of four distances at the 2024 Swim Serpentine on Saturday 14 September:
- Half mile – a more relaxed experience for anyone aged 10+
- One mile – a chance for those aged 14+ to swim a full loop of the historic Serpentine Lake
- Two mile – for anyone aged 16+ to complete two laps and tick off the swim element of the London Classics challenge
- The Super Six gives challenge-seekers aged 18+ the chance to complete six miles
All distances are fully supported by a water safety team and all participants will receive an exclusive Swim Serpentine swim cap for their event, have access to changing rooms and be able to enjoy a festival and picnic zone. All finishers will receive a medal to keep as a souvenir of their day.
Mark Durrant, who completed the two-mile distance at the 2023 Swim Serpentine, said: “Swim Serpentine is amazing! You’re just out in mother nature, trying to take in some of the views. There’s so much more enjoyment in that than a race.”
