UltraSwim 33.3 #5 Montenegro

#1Montenegro was the founding event for UltraSwim 33.3 in 2022. Since then #2Montenegro in 2023 has been a huge success (sold out!), and the event will return to the Lazure, our 5* Hotel & Spa base in Herceg Novi for the #5Montenegro in 2024, themed ‘Fjords to the Sea’. A full loop of the Lustica peninsula is your swimming objective!

One of the smaller countries of the Balkans, Montenegro offers both wild mountains and deep fjords, as well as rugged Adriatic coastline, which in turn produces a variety of horizons, conditions and experience – perfect for an epic adventure swim race! The event will usually kickoff in the protected waters of Boka Bay, but aim to take on the sometimes more challenging conditions along the Lustica peninsula Adriatic coast, with its inlets and caves adding an extra dimension.

A start line inside a giant ‘blue’ cave, a full loop of an old prison island, rugged coastline swimming with turquoise bays, and flat calm dark fjord waters – there is plenty of everything in #5 Montenegro!
