Charlie McLeod Driathlon

Getting warm, dry and changed quickly is often imperative after swimming outdoors. There are a number of different products on the market offering different levels of protection against the weather and with differing technical specifications. The Driathlon is a new product from Charlie McLeod that allows you to get dry and changed quickly.

The Driathlon is a changing robe made of durable microfibre towelling, and as such it is not only light but also gets you dry really quickly. Although it doesn’t offer the same level of warmth or weather protection as some other changing products on the market, we like the fact that it can be rolled up and secured with its own elastic strap, and then chucked in your kit bag where it takes up minimal space.

The fit is comfortable without being overly baggy, so you don’t feel as though you are wearing a sack. Deep front pockets keep hands dry and warm.

We like the contrast detail on the hems and seams, and the rugby-style neck fastening is a nice touch – stylish as well as being strong and practical.
