Drop Anchor Guest House overlooks the wild Atlantic on the Aughrus Peninsula in Connemara. We are particularly keen to welcome wild swimmers and people who might just wish to sit a while and contemplate the natural beauty all around them here.
Located, between the coastal villages of Claddaghduff and Cleggan, this is heaven for wild swimmers, with a choice of many beautiful beaches to swim at with pristine clear waters, all within walking distance or a short cycle/drive from Drop Anchor.

Surrounded by many beaches, this three bedroomed self-catering contemporary apartment has all the comforts of home, yet is a world away from hussle and bustle.
The Aughrus Peninsula in Connemara is a perfect location for sea swimming with its many magnificent empty white sand beaches.
