Where expert coaching meets a passion for swimming and triathlon. Led by Ali and Annie Hollest, we provide personalised coaching for swimmers and triathletes of all levels. Ali, an experienced triathlon coach and endurance athlete, focuses on creating the right environment for athletes to thrive. Annie, a freestyle technique specialist and sports massage therapist, helps swimmers refine their stroke for greater efficiency and supports their recovery from injuries. Whether you're new to swimming or aiming for peak performance, we're here to help you reach your goals.

Open Water Swimming Courses

Beginner and Improver adult courses to learn new skills for leisure and competition.

Beginner open water course – this 3-week course (3 x 45-minute sessions) is designed for those new to open water freestyle swimming. You'll learn to control your breathing, exhale properly, and stay calm while swimming with your face in the water. The course covers sighting for a straight swim, building confidence in groups, managing anxieties, and adapting your stroke for wetsuit swimming

Improver open water course – boost your confidence and technique with personal open water coaching, as your coach paddles alongside for real-time feedback. Learn sighting, pacing, and stroke efficiency to prevent zig-zagging and improve race performance. Suitable for all levels, sessions cover breathing control, wetsuit adaptations, race tactics, and training tips to help you swim smarter and faster.

1:1 Open Water Coaching – boost your confidence in open water with our personalised coaching sessions. Learn to sight effectively, swim straight, and refine your technique with a coach paddling alongside you in a kayak. Suitable for all levels, these sessions cover breathing control, race tactics, pacing, and stroke adaptations for wetsuit swimming. You'll also gain confidence swimming near others and improve your overall open water skills to gain a competitive edge.
