New Zealand has added a 14th Global Swim Series event - the Red Beach Swim - to its open water calendar.

The event, which will take place on 1 March 2020 at Whangaparaoa, Auckland, will include 1.5k and 3k races, both with a wetsuit and non-wetsuit division and will be hosted by Roskill Masters Swimming Club and the Red Beach SLSC.

The first female and male in the 3k non-wetsuit division will get their names engraved on the club trophy. There will also be a host of spot prizes for competitors taking part in the other races.

This event would be a great add-on for locals looking to add points to their Global Ranking, or an opportunity for visitors to drop by and get involved in a fun and beautiful ocean swim.

Entry costs $25.00 and will close on Friday 21 February 2020.
