October – Winter Swim Supplement

Help our readers on their winter swimming journeys

A blend of editorial around taking your training indoors and what you might need to prepare for the season ahead. This supplement will be part of our health and wellbeing issue which in the past has been popular with readers.

Our 2023 Swim Training Guide, published in October, gained more than 20,000 views online. It was also read by more than 5,000 print and digital subscribers.

We’re planning a new guide for October 2024 to coincide with when swimmers in the northern hemisphere are preparing for winter. For some, this means several months of cold water dipping. For others, it’s a return to the pool to work on fitness and swimming technique. This is the time of year when swimmers look for coaching advice and the kit and tools to help them make the most of winter training.

The Winter Swim Supplement is designed to be a pull-out-and-keep guide that readers will return to many times. It will contain training advice and plans along with a listing of swim coaches.
