How do I stop goggles from fogging?
Kathy Masterson

Foggy goggles are a nightmare! When you buy a new pair of goggles try your hardest not to wipe the lenses as nearly all goggles come with an anti-fog film. If you do need to wipe, dunk under the water or give a lick.

After a while that film will wear off but you can prolong it by keeping the goggles clean with diluted baby shampoo and storing them in a case.

“Swimming was my whole life for over 20 years. I poured every ounce of enthusiasm into it. I am so fortunate to have found these new outlets for that enthusiasm.”

Cassie Patten won bronze in the first ever Olympic 10km marathon swim, in the Beijing 2008 Olympics.
Cassie now coaches and is a frequent commentator at open water events.
