Take on the Mariners Mile challenge at Hymb. 1 mile, 1/2 mile mass start options or take a more leisurely swim around our stunning lake in your own time.
Herts Young Mariners Base is running its annual Mariners Mile swim event, open to 14 years and over. Hymb is situated in the Lea Valley Park at Cheshunt, just a 25 minute train journey from central London and set in beautiful surroundings, a real hidden gem right on London’s doorstep.
- Fully accessible showers and changing rooms, refreshments, free parking and a great atmosphere.
- Distances for all
- 500m loop in the main lake
- Mile, Mile plus and half mile courses using both lakes.
- Price £25 plus booking fee. Each competitor will receive a medal and swim hat.
- 10% of entry fee will be donated to Cancer research UK.
