With only 35 places available it is the social aspect that makes this event so special. The event combines coastal path hiking and two adventure sea swims, taking in the stunning coastline of North Devon.

The event starts at Skern Outdoor Activity Centre near Westward Ho! late morning on July 15th where you will be allocated into groups and transported by mini bus to the start line.

You will enjoy stunning views of the Atlantic as you walk 12km of the southwest coastal path back towards Westward Ho! Just before reaching the small seaside town, adventurers will be given the option of a 1.5km or 2.5km swim across the bay towards the tip of the Burrows. From this point you will hike and additional 2-3km (depending on your chosen swim distance) around the headland to the last checkpoint where swimmers will have the option of an additional swim across a small tidal inlet called the Skern (approx 700m) or hiking around the bay to the finish line.

Although this is a considerable physical challenge this is a non competitive event, as we want the emphasis to be on fun not speed. The swims are also planned around high tide so we will aim to have everyone finished by around 8pm. Numbers are limited as we want to ensure everyone is looked after both in and out of the water. Both swims will have land based support as well as kayaks in the water.

The cost of the event is £120 per person.
