Pembrokeshire swimmers embark on virtual fundraiser for India Covid-19 appeal

Black Rock Swim, a group of local swimmers from Pembrokeshire, who meet weekly to swim at high tide in Dale, are embarking on a virtual swim challenge to raise money for the India Covid-19 appeal.

The group plan to swim the equivalent of the 81km Murshidabad Open Water Swim, one of the world’s longest open water swims, which has been held annually in India since 1943.

Black Rock Swim will combine their individual swims together over July and August to hit the 81km target, with all funds going to critical frontline support in India and Bangladesh, via international children’s charity Family for Every Child.
