SwimQuest Philippines 2019 Announced
SwimQuest Swimming Holidays this week announced The Philippines as a new destination for 2019.
Based at the luxurious Atmosphere resort on the island of Negros Oriental in the Southern Central Visayas, this week incorporates reef and coastal swims along the Dauin coast, and an opportunity to swim around the beautiful Apo Island – home of over 60 sea turtles.
The week has a maximum capacity of 12 guests and is suitable for all ability levels. Swim distances will vary from 4-6km per day, split into two swims, and guests are free to swim as much or as little of this as they wish. Non-swimmers are very welcome to join this trip and can enjoy time on the boat, or snorkelling opportunities.
In addition to a full swimming itinerary, the trip also includes optional one-to-one swim technique sessions pre breakfast, a marine life seminar, an introduction to yoga class and a welcome massage on arrival.
“We are really excited to be planning into 2019,” says SwimQuest co-founder Alice Todd. “Although May 2019 seems a while away, it is the perfect time to visit the Dauin coastline, as the sea should be glass flat – perfect for trips over to Apo Island to see the turtles, corals and schooling fish. This trip will be a fantastic addition to our other warm water long-haul destinations: the Maldives and Bahamas, which have been extremely popular.”
