Dryrobe® has announced a limited-edition version of its Nexus changing robe in partnership with the RNLI, marking 25 years of RNLI lifeguard service on UK beaches.

The design draws on Dryrobe’s long-standing connection with the RNLI, taking inspiration from maritime heritage, working harbour gear and the contrasting environments of open sea and shore.

The Nexus retains the familiar silhouette of the original Dryrobe® while introducing a more refined fit and a number of updated features. It combines 30K waterproofing with high breathability for protection from wind and wet weather, while its lightweight, mid-volume fleece lining provides warmth and moisture-wicking performance without excessive bulk.

One of the robe’s most useful features is its ‘reach-through’ pockets, which allow you to access the inside of the robe without opening the main zip. This makes it easy to adjust clothing or reach into an inner pocket while staying warm and covered.

Outdoor Swimmer founder Simon was particularly impressed by the Nexus’s Sherpa fleece lining, waterproofing and reach-through pockets when he reviewed the robe earlier this year.

The limited-edition design comes in an Ocean Blue and Grey outer with Red trim and a Light Grey inner. Each robe features special internal branding commemorating the 25th anniversary of RNLI lifeguards.

The main fabrics are made from 100% GRS-certified recycled materials.

As well as marking the partnership between Dryrobe® and the RNLI, the limited-edition Nexus offers swimmers the chance to support the charity’s work directly: £50 from every robe sold will be donated to the RNLI. Dryrobe® has officially exceeded £400,000 in total donations raised for the RNLI to date.
