Mako Angel Racing Goggles

Mako started life as a wetsuit company founded by triathlete Jérémie Chapon in 2009 and has since branched into swimwear and accessories. The sleek Mako Angel Racing Goggles are aimed at the competitive end of the market and will work well for those who like small, socket-style goggles. The seal is super soft and comfortable.

The twin head strap is more stretchy than you usually find and gives the sensation the goggles might be loose, but they are stable and leak proof including on dives and fast push offs. In fact, the forgiving strap contributes positively to the overall comfort. Like several other goggles we’ve tried recently these seem to produce a slight double vision sensation while swimming, but you quickly get used to it. The mirror lenses are easy on the eye both in the pool and outside.

The goggles come in a strong protective case and have a choice of three nose piece sizes; they also have built in anti-fog and UV protection.
