PaceWatch from Brilliant Swim
The pace clock is a fantastic tool for swim training. Without one, many swimmers feel lost. But not all pools have them or (bizarrely) they are turned off during public sessions, or they are broken, or maybe (like our editor) you’re too short sighted to see it. The PaceWatch is the solution.
With just a minute hand and a second hand, the PaceWatch allows you to keep track of your training, just like a pace clock but with the advantage that it’s on your wrist. Big numbers (from 5 to 60) and clear second markings make this easy to read, and with only one button (to stop the watch and set the minute hand) it’s simple to use and doesn’t require an instruction manual or engineering degree to operate. Compared to other swim watches, it’s very slim so causes minimal interference with your swimming. While of little use in open water it’s great for pool training.
