The lake is open for swimmers for open water swimming and triathlon training.
The size of the lake is larger as the size of an Olympic size swimming pool. With Beach-style sloped entry. Orange buoys mark a ~100m loop which can be swum clockwise, swimmers can swim in the middle or at the edges of the lake.
