At the Cambridge Swimming Company, we are passionate about the open water environment and the many ways in it can be enjoyed. The sense of freedom and peace that open water / wild swimming provides, together with the mental and physical health benefits, drive us to share our passion for the sport.

The community of open water swimmers is as varied as the general population. This inspiring, adventurous and inclusive group of people, come together through swimming, art, food and a love of nature. We champion all aspects of this community and our mission is to support all swimmers, however they choose to enjoy the open water. The wild swimming community in Cambridge and Cambridgeshire is thriving and we would be delighted to introduce you to this wondrous world.

Our coaching philosophy is that we are athlete led. No two swimmers are alike, and neither are their abilities or their goals. We work with first time open water swimmers through to those training for a channel crossing attempt. Our coaching team offer single or group sessions, adventure swimming, swim clinics or just some online advice.
