Danie Marais hoping for victory at Sanlam Cape
South African open water star Danie Marais will be competing at the Sanlam Cape Mile, a new race in South Africa.
Marais, who came fourth in last year’s Midmar Mile, the world’s biggest mass participation open water swimming race, is hoping for a win at Sanlam Cape: “I am really looking forward to being in Cape Town and would love to finish first at the Sanlam Cape Mile.”
The event takes place at the Eikenhof Dam at the Grabouw Country Club (Western Cape) on Saturday 14 February 2015.
