If you’re unable to make it to this year’s Kendal Mountain Festival, you can still watch guest speakers from the world of outdoor swimming and adventure, plus watch a selection of films in the comfort of your own home with a choice of online passes.
Kendal Mountain Festival shares adventure stories with audiences across the globe. It is an annual event inviting 20,000+ outdoor enthusiasts to gather over four days in Kendal each November.
The Kendal Mountain Festival Player gives audiences access to many of the Kendal Mountain Festival’s sessions, film collections and feature films online.
Outdoor Swimming Session comes to Kendal
The Kendal Mountain Festival also hosts much-anticipated ‘sessions’. And on Sunday 20 November, Ella Foote and Colin Hill will be hosting the Outdoor Swimming Session – sharing their infectious enthusiasm with a packed line-up of guests sharing stories from their water adventures.
Guests include: Jasmine Harrison, talking about her record-breaking 900-mile Land’s End to John O’Groats swim; Eliza Radclyffe, who this year became the first female to win the Dee Mile in skins, a race that women were once forbidden from entering; Omie Dale, Swim England’s Swim Teacher of the Year 2021; and Angus Hosking, a member of the Lake District Divers on a mission to remove litter from the Lake District.
