We’re swimming 60K in November! Will you do it too?

We, the Outdoor Swimmer team, are excited to be joining the world’s most ambitious virtual swim – #SwimTrek60K

This November the Outdoor Swimmer team are excited to be joining the world’s most ambitious virtual swim.

Last year, swimmers who took part in #SwimTrek60K swam 38% of the world’s circumference. THIS YEAR, the campaign is aiming to go all the way around the world!

It’s FREE to take part and all for a good cause. For every swimmer, SwimTrek are offering to donate $5 to SeaTrees, supporting their work in reforesting the ocean. Legends like Lewis Pugh and Sarah Thomas are also joining the fun, with many of SwimTrek’s friends and partners on board including 1% For The Planet and B-Corp.

You can swim the challenge individually or as a team. Each of the Outdoor Swimmer team will be taking on the 60K in their own unique ways… editor Ella will be clocking her miles while swim guiding in Oman! Feature writer Rowan will be counting down her kms while training for the Winter World Swimming Championships in March, and digital editor Abi will be honing her front crawl technique split between her local pool and stretch of river.
