Wetsuit and triathlon brand Zone3 says it plans to expand internationally in 2014. The British company, which was founded by James Lock in 2007, has until now focused primarily on its home market, but Lock says it’s now the right time to expand.
“We wanted to make sure that every product was absolutely as good as it could possibly be before expanding further,” says Lock. “The philosophy of the company has always been to grow organically and really value our retail partners. These guys are the foundation of the business and without them we wouldn’t have been able to establish ourselves as the number one selling brand in the UK.”
The company will be targeting 15 new countries around the world and partnering with retailers on the ground.
