The warmest water location of the series, this course takes you around the magical island of Skopelos in the Sporades – Greece’s greenest island and home also to the cult film Mamma Mia!
Unique to the Greek venue
- Swim between film set locations of the Mamma Mia! film! … the 2024 Pioneer event fave spot? the Mamma Mia church finish line.
- The main hotel base, Adrina Resort, family owned and run, hosted the film stars…but more importantly, is that it’s off-grid with own solar electricity, and installed a filtered water supply just for the event (no need for the plastic bottles prevalent in Greece!)
- Warmest water temperatures of all the events in the series by quite a few degrees.
- At least one island to island crossing planned
- Statistically the windiest venue too, but also the warmest.
- Fly via Athens to visit the Acropolis, or direct in to Skiathos, the next door island.
- Optional night swim, weather permitting.
- No options are available in Greece for either 22.2 or 11.1
