H2Open 2012 Awards Update

What a great response to the H2Open 2012 Open Water Swimming Awards: almost 50 nominations received already. Keep them coming in.

The one notable exception is for the “Best International Event of the Year”. We know we have plenty of readers outside the UK, and we also suspect quite a few British swimmers travel to events around the world. We’d love to hear from you what you think are the best open water swimming events in the world. Also, we only have one nomination so far for Inspirational Swim of the Year. Roger Allsopp becoming the oldest man (at 70) to swim the English Channel is certainly inspirational but we’re sure there are others.

Remember, anyone can make a nomination. Complete a nomination form here.
