Review: new Zoggs goggles

Light filtering features, barely there comfort and a borderless field of vision. Omie Dale reviews two new Zoggs goggles that promise to maximise underwater visibility.

Zoggs Tiger Mirror Goggle | £25

They say: Enjoy your swim with this easy to fit goggle offering long-lasting comfort and a reliable leak-free seal. It’s low profile and soft silicone seal provide high comfort, tightness and stability. The Poly Carbonate lenses are directly over-moulded onto the frame to create an almost borderless field of vision. Hydrodynamically designed, the lenses follow the eye’s natural shape to reduce optical distortions often experienced underwater.

We say: Super comfortable goggles with a wide range of vision. The lenses are equipped with light filtering features offering both sun and glare protection, maximising visibility on even the sunniest of swims. These goggles are available in both small and regular, resulting in a better fit. I’d definitely recommend these for those looking for a solid all-rounder when swimming outdoors.

Tiger LSR+ Liquid Skin Race Goggle | £30

We say: These goggles are incredibly lightweight, providing a strong seal and wide line of vision whilst feeling like they’re barely there. The split strap allowed for easy adjustment of the size when I first put them on too. I was particularly impressed with how little the goggles fogged up, even after swimming with them for a while – not having to stop and clean the lenses was a huge plus!

They say: The Zoggs Tiger Liquid Skin® Race Goggle (mirror version pictured) offers a premium level of enduring comfort throughout lengthy pool sessions or open water adventures. Made with revolutionary Liquid Skin®, an ultra-lightweight silicone offering flexible comfort, Tiger LSR+ contours seamlessly to your face fitting gently into your eyes and creating a watertight seal. The Poly Carbonate lenses are directly over-moulded onto the frame to create an almost borderless field of vision.
