All aboard!
Fancy exploring the coast of Great Britain and Ireland from aboard a tall ship? SwimTrek has announced a series of swimming tours around the British Isles from the 102-foot traditional Bringantine square rigger the Lady of Avenel.
Choose from four tours aboard the ship, exploring Ireland’s Donegal coast, the Scottish Outer Hebrides, Isle of Skye and Small Isles of the Inner Hebrides or Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly. The trips offer the chance to dive into the stunning natural beauty of the British Isles and give the opportunity to explore the rich culture of these regions.
The Donegal Atlantic Way trip is a pioneering swimming adventure, where you’ll discover the remote waters of the North-West coast of Ireland. The challenging Outer Hebrides trip is an exploratory foray through the archipelago, discovering remote islands from South Uist to Berneray. The Isle of Skye and Small Isles tour offers the opportunity to traverse the stunning lochs and peninsulas of the coastline of the Isle of Skye, as well as exploring the waters around the isles of Rum, Canna, Eigg and Muck. The final trip of 2018 explores the inviting alcoves of the Cornish coast and the major islands of the Isles of Scilly.
SwimTrek is running its Lady of Avenel Trips around the British Isles in August and September 2018. Prices start from £1,390 for a twin cabin. Packages include guide-led tours, full safety vessel cover, accommodation and all meals.
