Guaranteed Bosphorus Cross Continental Swim places with SwimTrek
The Bosphorus Cross Continental Swim is a definite bucket list item for open water swimmers from around the world with places in such high demand that there is a lottery system in place for international swimmers.
The way to do it
There is, however, a way to circumvent the lottery as SwimTrek, a swimming holiday company, has secured 250 guaranteed places.
The SwimTrek package runs from 22 to 24 July in Istanbul, Turkey. Prices start from £430, which includes two nights accommodation, breakfasts, entry into the swim and transfers on Saturday and Sunday to registration and race village. The price does not include flights, transfers, lunch and evening meals or guided tours.

The swim is a 6.5km crossing of the Bosphorus from Asia to Europe.
