Heron Lake is definitely open for swimming

After a change in management operations for the 2016 season a couple of websites (including the former official site) are indicating that Heron Lake, near Wraysbury in Middlesex, is closed for open water swimming.

This is NOT the case.

Heron Lake is definitely open and the new website with opening times is here: http://www.swimheron.co.uk/

The lake now uses the NOWCA band system and offers both a 400m and 1000m course making it suitable for both beginners and more experienced swimmers.

Swim retailer Mailsports will have a pop up shop open at every session and H2Open contributor Fiona Ford is offering SwimSmooth coaching at the lake.
