2019 Wowsa Awards Banner

The World Open Water Swimming Association (WOWSA) have announced the selection of outstanding individuals for their 2019 awards.

The categories for this year’s awards are, WOWSA ‘Man of the Year’, ‘Woman of the Year’, ‘Performance of the Year’ and ‘Offering of the Year’.

The WOWSA Award winners are selected by the public in an online poll where one vote is allowed by one computer/ one person.

Outdoor Swimmer contributor, Elaine Howley, has been nominated for ‘Offering of the Year’ for her swimming journalism.
