No Wetsuit, No Race Experience, No Problem – We’re Looking for a Swimmer to Shine in 2026

Ever dreamed of finishing your first open water swim? Zone3 and Outdoor Swimmer are teaming up to find someone ready to make 2026 their year in the water. We’re looking for an event swim beginner, someone who’s never owned a wetsuit, never entered an official swim, but is eager to dive in.

The winner will be fully kitted out with Zone3 swim gear, including their first wetsuit and goggles and have their journey followed by Outdoor Swimmer, from first swim to finish line.

What’s more, Zone3 have secured a FREE place in the prestigious Swim Serpentine event in London, giving you the perfect first outdoor swimming challenge! Alternatively, you are free to enter an event of your choice.

All we ask of you is that you send us an image and 400 words a month to include on the Outdoor Swimmer website and in social media each month documenting your journey. Our Editor can give guidance and deadline dates.
