Bath products for swimmers

Nothing warms you through, soothes aching muscles and eases tension like a good soak after a cold water swim. Read on for our favourite bath products for swimmers.

It will come as no surprise, but the Outdoor Swimmer team loves a bath. Soaking in a tub is a great way to finish warming up after being out in the cold and it is great for relaxing tired, aching muscles. Here are some favourites.

Trihard Muscle & Mind Soak | from £25

These recovery bath salt tablets are soothing and smell wonderful. They are great at reducing muscle tightness and tension. Great before bed to help with sleep.

Lush Mermaid Tail Bubble Bar | £6

Of course this is a favourite, its part Mermaid. But not only does it look great, it smells fantastic and because it is a bubble bar, you can use it multiple times. It’s really moisturising as well as soothing.

Neal’s Yard Remedies Seaweed & Arnica Foaming Bath | from £12.75

This is so good for bumps, bruises and tired muscles. The arnica aids recovery and the lemon, lavender and juniper smell is revitalising. Foams up really lovely too.

Cowshed Sleep Bath Oil | £30

If you end up more wired from a training session than tired, this bath oil is fantastic at relaxing muscles and easing tension. It is also deeply moisturising, great after time in chlorine.

Radox Mineral Therapy Bath Soak Muscle Soak | £1.50

Great budget bubble bath that does the job at a reasonable price. Smells lovely, soothes muscles and makes a lot of bubbles.
