Dip for a difference
Join Sub10 Club or Wild Sub10 Club this winter and turn your cold water swims into lasting impact – help fund swimming lessons for children with disabilities
Level Water: At Level Water, we believe every child should get the chance to learn to swim with confidence. Dip for a Difference (DfaD), created with our friends at NOWCA, invites outdoor swimmers to turn their cold water dips into real impact for children who need specialist one-to-one lessons.
From 1 November 2025 to 31 March 2026, DfaD sits inside NOWCA’s Sub10 Club and Wild Sub10 Club. The idea is simple. When the water drops below 10°C, you dip, swim or splash for as long or as little as you like. Every chilly swim counts. No distance goals. No timers. Just you, the water and a great reason to keep showing up.
How do I sign up?
Getting involved is easy. Sign up for DfaD, set up a fundraising page and choose where you want to swim. You can book a swim at a Sub10 participating venue or log your wild swims through the NOWCA Wild app. Either way, your swims help fund one-toone lessons for children with disabilities. Each £15 you raise pays for a full lesson that gives a child confidence, freedom and a chance to learn safely.
There are fun rewards too. Hit £15 and you enter the NOWCA prize draw. Reach £100 and you’ll unlock a Level Water beanie. At £200 you get a dry bag. At £300 you fund 20 lessons and receive a personal postcard from our founder as a thank you.
We already have 50 swimmers signed up and we would love to welcome many more. If you are cold water curious or already a winter regular, join us and turn your winter dips into something amazing for children who truly benefit from your support.
