Ingredients
1 cup wholemeal bread flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 cup thick 0% Greek yoghurt
1 egg, for wash
Pinch of salt
Mixed Seeds
Method
- In a bowl, combine the flour and yoghurt, season with a pinch of salt, and mix with a fork until the dough starts to form. Then, use your hands to bring it together.
- Knead the dough for up to a minute until you have a smooth, non-sticky dough.
- Divide into four equal-sized pieces, make a ball/disc and form a hole in the middle. Brush the bagels with an egg wash and sprinkle on mixed seeds.
- Bake at 190ºc fan oven for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Slice in half, then toast to enjoy. Eat immediately or freeze (sliced).
Top tip: Use a thick yoghurt or the mix will be too wet
