Get a free place on the Henley to Marlow Bridge to Bridge with FRANK Water

Henley Swim’s Bridge to Bridge covers a beautiful 14km stretch of the Thames from Henley to Marlow. It’s run in the form of a sportive challenge rather than a race and attracts swimmers with a wide range of abilities. It’s definitely a trophy swim as well as a tiring but rewarding day on the river. This year’s swim is scheduled for Sunday 9 August.

How about doing it for free?

The charity FRANK Water has a number of free places for swimmers who are prepared to raise funds to support their goal of improving access to clean water in developing countries.
“Every day, 4,000 children around the world die from waterborne diseases,” says Philippa Cox, the community and events fundraiser for the charity. “Our projects provide some of the world’s poorest people with access to taps and toilets; something we can too easily take for granted.”
FRANK Water is the official charity partner for this year’s Bridge to Bridge and will be there to support you on the day as well as assist in your fund raising.
“Your support will help women can go to work instead of spending their day walking several kilometres to fill heavy cans of water,” says Cox. “It will also help men can provide for their families because they no longer suffer from crippling waterborne disease that keeps them from working and it will mean children can go to school, get an education, perhaps go to university, find jobs and break the cycle of poverty.”
