Sub10 Club has started!
As the water cools and the mornings turn crisp, it’s time to gear up for another exhilarating winter swim season with Nowca’s Sub10 Club
Running through to 31 March, the Sub10 Club celebrates swimmers who embrace the thrill of open water below 10 °C. It’s not about distance or speed – it’s about resilience, camaraderie, and the joy of sharing the water with others who love a cold challenge.
To take part, you’ll need an active NOWCA membership and to log your swims (10 °C or below) at participating venues. Every recorded dip counts toward your Sub10 total and appears on the official Sub10 Club scoreboard.
Swimmers can earn Sub10 award badges for completing 10, 25, or 50 swims, while long term cold water enthusiasts can work toward the coveted Centurion badges across seasons.
Remember, safety is key. Nowca offers an online Cold Water Induction course and Safety Guide to help you prepare, swim, and recover safely throughout the winter.
So wrap up warm, rally your swim buddies, and get ready to join Nowca’s Sub10 Club this season.
