Many thanks to Beth Barnes who featured in our July issue on the I love open water swimming page for this video she sent us of Karen Throsby’s recent Catalina swim. It shows Karen leaping off a boat in the dark and crawling onto a rocky beach 14 hours later. She makes it look easy, but you know it isn’t.
